I just discovered them recently, myself. I think it was this spring, while watching coverage of the South by Southwest Music Festival Austin, in Texas on TV. I was reminded of them again last night, when they appeared on a late night TV show. I've been very pleased with the direction music has been going in the last couple of years. Throughout the 90's and through much of this decade, I had thought that creativity in rock and popular music was dead, but there seems to be a renaissance going on, and I'm really enjoying it.

Yes, I noticed a similarity to U2 in the sound of their guitars too. I wonder if that's where they got their inspiration?
Hey! You live in Texas! Have you ever checked out the South By Southwest Music Festival, in Austin in the spring? Directv carried some of it, and they had some really good bands there this year. I know Texas is a huge state, and Austin may be hundreds of miles away, but if you are close, it's worth checking out.
Austin is a hop, skip, and a jump from me...only about 250 miles...lol. If you live in Brownsville and visit friends in Texline...you'll have to drive about 900 miles.
I've never been to any of the music festivals in Austin. Austin is a wonderful place to do that though. You can see more great bands on "Austin City Limits". I prefer that, to traveling...better seats too. I guess I'm too lazy. :)Suzi
