I am so disappointed in Blogger! I just spent an hour and half, attempting to compose another post, and suddenly Blogger went off-line, and every single character that I typed, was lost! Edit Pages and Edit Posts, were of no help at all. It was all simply gone!
I hate to have to used Word to compose all of my on-line posts in first, but it does eliminate a lot of dumped internet posts. I suppose I could write the post over again, but at this late hour, I simply don't have the energy, and would forget three quarters of the relevant content, since it all came off the top of my head. I may be a night owl, but it's past three in the morning now, and it would take another hour and a half to rewrite it.
So, sorry my lovelies, but it's not going to happen, not tonight at least! Suffice it to say that It had to do with my gender identity, my inherited body shape, and a possible question of being born not only transsexual, but inter-sexed as well.
Oh, well, maybe some other time.

Damn. I would have liked to have read that, Melissa. I think we're all going through a phase of exploring and explaining ourselves and I'm sure it would not only have been good for you but good for the rest of us to have another serious piece posted up.
I wonder if Google is tinkering with its online services behind the scenes and has inadvertantly introduced some bugs. Surely it isn't simply down to your using a Mac rather than a PC!

That's a bummer for sure...surprised autosave didn't retain the draft. So sorry. I would like to read what you have to say on those topics as well. Maybe others have wondered about those things, I have.

Okay, I'll bite, lol. When WILL you ever learn? I always found it simpler to compose my posts ahead of time then copy and paste into Blogger. I thought it was easier to get my thoughts together and I had a copy saved someplace other than on someone else's server.

Sorry you lost your post, but I think we did all suggest composing offline. I always use Notepad (not Word), and sometimes even save and come back later if I don't have time to finish -- or if it's one of those difficult entries.
It is kind of weird that Blogger didn't save a draft. Are you sure it didn't? It auto-saves every however many seconds. I've never paid much attention to that feature.
I like the ability to change the post font and colour to those some readers hate before I copy and paste it, don't have to have blogger running either.
You will be itching to have another go soon I bet.

That's unfortunate. I guess offline composing is your best bet then.

I've never been hit by the Curse of Blogger, sounds as if I've been lucky.
