Houseflies

I've been chasing a housefly around for about a half an hour now. He's way too fast for me. I've taken several swings at him, but he's like Mahummed Ali. "Float like a butterfly", and all that. Fortunately the little hellion doesn't sting like a bee, but just buzzes around the room, annoying me as much as he can. He thinks he can outsmart me, but he's sadly mistaken. I'll get him in the end. I always do.

Here's a couple of houseflies, having fun!

Wen I first moved to Holland I always wanted to live next to water (more difficult than you would imagine) I've been lucky in that the house we brought is the second I've had which is on a 'singel' (translates to canal, but it's not that big :) )

Winter of summer it's great - swans, ducks and some other birds that I don't know the name of swimming around, or skating on the ice long before it's thick enough for people to skate.

However there is also a dark side of this closeness to nature - flies, mugs and mozzies attack us over the warmer months. If you leave a door or window open for more than a second of two you are invaded!

And they are so hard to hit... The cat likes them though :)

If you would stop chasing them with your camera and use a wet cloth instead, swing it or throw it, lots of momentum in a wet cloth!

Thinking of you today.
I miss reading you as I did for so long but it's taken a while to unlearn being a crossdresser's girlfriend. Hope you are well; would love to hear from you.
